Jill doesn't do a lot of cover tunes, but in this edition of Jills' Show & Tell (updated 6/2/08), we
bring you a few she has done, some pretty straightforward and some a bit outrageous...

Survivor MP3 Survivor. Jill initially started performing the Destiny's Child hit at live shows as a bit of a joke, an example of an "inappropriate" cover. But it turned out to hold up well under the guitar & vocal treatment -- who knew? -- and became a fan favorite, especially in the wake of the 9/11 attacks. This studio version was released on Jill's Folk Years: 2003-2003 album.
Hot in Herre MP3 Hot in Herre. Another "inappropriate" hip-hop cover, Jill takes Nelly's original and records it with harmonica, jew's harp and the most traditional of all hip-hop instruments, the banjo. The result? One of our most popular downloads ever, believe it or not.
Just a Little Lovin' MP3 Just a Little Lovin'. Jill's contribution to the Dusty Springfield tribute album Forever Dusty.
Down by the River MP3 Down by the River. From the recently released Cinnamon Girl - Women Artists Cover Neil Young for Charity, here's Jill's version of a Neil Young classic, performed with John Doe.
