I am already in vacation mode. Today, I have spent all morning aimlessly moving on the internets highway. Here are some of the stops (in no particular order): Usually I cringe at some of the videos that people have somehow managed to find of me. Despite the lo-fi audio and kitten ear knit hat, I like this version of Warren Zevon's, "Don't Let Us Get Sick". Okay, enough about me. Here is my Christmas song choice of the day: Santa Clause Go Straight to the Ghetto by James Brown. I also saw this song which was on a continuing list of depressing Christmas songs. Here is "The Christmas Shoes". Proceed with caution. There is still hope for us all. We can still slack off for a couple more decades. Carmen Herrera sold her first painting five years ago, at the age of 89. And now... she's at MOMA. I love this story. Rugby star comes out of the closet: Can you imagine if someone, say, like a Tony Romo came out? Do you think it would be harder here? I am interested in reading the new book about evangelicals in the sports world. Year-end list are pouring in. Here is, from Media Matters, "Misinformer of the Year 2009: Glenn Beck". I am just getting started.
